Join us for a 9 night intimate retreat in Assisi, Italy and the beautiful countryside of Umbria as we explore the life and spirituality of St. Francis—not simply by learning about him, but by walking in his footsteps. Through visits to sacred Franciscan places, portions of the Franciscan Way, time in nature, and experiences of the beauty and culture of Umbria, we will discover the simplicity, joy, compassion, and contemplative spirit that shaped Francis's life.
At the heart of our journey will be a visit to Eremo delle Carceri, the peaceful mountain hermitage where Francis sought solitude and prayer. Through walking, silence, meditation, music, journaling, prayer, conversation, and time in nature, we will explore how Franciscan spirituality can speak to our own lives. There will also be time for wonderful meals, local wine, shopping, laughter, and friendship. This is more than a pilgrimage—it is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and discover what St. Francis might have to teach us about the way we want to live.
